Operations and Quality Manager (f/m/x)
We are looking for a sharp, highly motivated individual to join our operations team at icon incar. This role offers a combination of project management, quality management, analytical ability, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, working with key stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to work across strategy, process, and execution, supporting UX/UI projects across the full spectrum – from concept to delivery. In addition, you will help us ensure compliance with ISO 9001, to which we have been certified since 2019.
The Operations & Quality Manager will support the Senior and Executive Operations team and help further advance icon incar as a leading automotive UI/UX agency.
Responsibilities
- Support the management and execution of all projects from our stakeholders and leadership in the operations team including the COO, Sr. Director Operations and Design Operations Director.
- Manage and develop our existing quality management system, both client facing and within the organization, being the primary agent of continuous improvement within the organization and support the group’s compliance function.
- Deliver data analysis and own the data corresponding to key OKRs and company KPIs. Keep a good overview of top projects and be an ambassador of the purpose behind them.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way. Coordinate with other departments within the company to ensure that the appropriate resources are available to meet project demands.
- Check on the status of projects at various stages to ensure that they are progressing as planned.
- Monitor operational data to identify any problems that may need to be addressed immediately.
- Maintain and improve the organisation’s policies and internal documentation
- Build strong and cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree in business administration or similar with min. 2-3 years of experience in business development and min. 1 year of experience in operations, project or process management.
- Ideally you have experience in the mobility, technology or OEM industries.
- Experience with ISO norms, ideally relating to quality management are a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership to advance projects and strategies.
- Sound understanding of project management principles
- A strong sense of urgency to get things done. Talk the talk and walk the walk. Experience with agile methodologies are expected to approach and follow up progress of growth activities and projects. Find ways to increase efficiency, eliminate downtime, optimize costs, and maintain performance at scale. Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Strong analytics, data driven approaches and high confidence with numbers to support the creation of business plans, business models, estimates and business cases with a customer centric mindset.
- Ability to design, carry out analysis, and model business processes
- Strong communication, presentation skills in English (German is a huge plus), ability to efficiently deal with various stakeholders and senior management.
